Following a rigorous five-year apprenticeship under a master clockmaker, he attained formal membership with the National Association of Clock and Watch Collectors in 1983. 

Throughout his distinguished career, he has specialized in the comprehensive repair of antique horological instruments. Utilizing decades of technical proficiency, he provides expert services for a diverse range of manufacturers, including Ansonia, Seth Thomas, Mueller, Waterbury, and Ingraham. 

Furthermore, Mr. Schuelke benefited from a long-term professional collaboration with Bob Schmidt, a globally recognized authority in the field of horology.
